I picked this little player up because I was having a hell of a time getting playlists working with my iPod and Linux. The Coby MP305-4G works fine as a USB device. I just drag my playlist folders into it, then select the playlist from the Coby. I haven't tried shuffling songs within the playlist, but there are a few shuffle options, and I'm planning on seeing if a .m3u playlist will work with it. The player is really flimsy-light, has cheap buttons with dubious durability, and so forth, but it is working while my expensive iPod isn't, and it is dirt cheap with decent capacity. I bought the Walkman 16 Gig.
First off I found this player to be Very easy to setup and use, infact it comes with no software CD to install, just plug it in via UBB and my computer sees it as portable hard drive, I can add/delete files that way, or use the pre-installed sowftware that comes with the mp3 (it will pop up once you connect via UBS) either way its easy and works great.
Easy drag and drop. You can create Folders for certain bands and jsut play by folder (or artsist, album, playlist, ect).
Mp3 play well and sound great, pics (.jpg and .bmp) look great and video (wmf) plays and looks very good.
I find this mp3 player to be VERY easy to use, very reliable and all around awesome.
I just wish it has 32 Gig or a SD slot to expand the memory, but it doesnt. Other than that, I love this player.

Works pretty well, at first I didn't know why I couldn't get it to play but it was because the battery was not fully charged. Holds the charge for a day or two - but it's pretty easy to recharge at office desk during the day. For a simple MP3 player that I can use in the car (I brought a $5 wire to connect to car system) it works well. Just a 4Gig Ipod is fine by me. This is a great choice of Mp3 player for listening to music anywhere you want! The sound quality is great and it's easy to use Itunes to put your songs on to your Ipod.

Appearance - 5/5 - sleak & very nice, also easy to handle and soft on the hands.
Ease of Use - 5/5 - It's simple to press & play songs and to choose your other features it's basically a big bright looking screen with a button and scroll wheel to scroll through your songs.
Battery Life - 3/5 - Battery Life doesn't last very long if you're using your Ipod with the brightness setting on high, but if you have the brightness setting on the lowest setting the battery power will last a long time [The brightness affects your battery life, if you have it on and charge it all night the Ipod runs out of battery within 45 minutes!]
Capacity - 5/5 - 4Gigabytes isn't bad if you want to use your Ipod as a music player.
