I listen to audio books mostly, very little music. this player has the memory but it is very tricky to use so that it does not loose your place every time you turn it off or plug it in to charge.
Battery life is pathetic, at less than 4 hours, it is almost useless at work unless you pack around a charger and a very long extension cord.
Poorly engineered, after using it for 3-4 months at my desk it developed a glitch and would just turn off for no obvious reason when bumped. it has since failed completely and now resides in the trash. this may be a defect of my individual unit... but with other issue does add much to my impression of this player.
