Works as advertised. Connected to my Sony Bravia LCD TV and iPod now plays through the TV or the attached Sony home theater system. Simple plug and play setup. It puts an iPod style intuitive interface on the TV to allow you to select playlist, artists, etc. from across the room using the supplied remote. Some have reported issues with the remote, but it works just fine for me. (you do need to aim remote at the eye on front of dock) After about 10 minutes, the TV screen will go to a power saving dim-display mode. The iPod charges up while in the dock.
The dock also has an ethernet jack to connect to your home network. So if you have internet access, you can play net-cast "radio" stations. I have not tried this feature, though.
The remarkable bargain price of this unit makes it a better choice than the pricey Sony home theater iPod dock. If you have a non-Sony home theater or just a TV, this is the way to go to add iPod to your system.
