The MP3 player had rust on it right out of the package. When you moved the headphone connector around it was scratchy. I got most of the rust off with some metal cleaner and I fixed the scratchy noise with WD40. Good thing this thing was cheap. The only reason I didn't return it is, Tigerdirect makes you jump thru hoops to return things.
