This is the third Sansa Clip product I've owned. The first was a first gen Clip 1GB that I had to return to Circuit City within a week because it wouldn't turn on. The replacement lasted for over six months, then the battery would discharge while the device was turned off. I'd fully charge it the night before and then walk into the gym at 6PM and no charge/dead. Thought that maybe an upgrade was in order, so I bought a Clip Plus 4GB, and within a week it was exhibiting the same symptom -- BATTERY DISCHARGES WHILE THE DEVICE IS OFF.
