8 GB Video MP3/MP4 Player with 2.8-inch TFT Touchscreen Immediately

I ordered this through Amazon, the only way I would feel safe for something like this. It arrived in two business days as promised via the Amazon prime two day shipping.

My first impression was that this is smaller than I thought. The touchable screen works without needing the included stylus if you are careful and make use of the +, M and - keys at the bottom. There is no place to store or attach the stylus though.

Connecting it to my Vista x64 desktop did nothing. No drive showed up. The Windows tried to install the driver but was not successful. No matter what I did, it never worked under 64-bit Windows. Connecting it to a 32-bit Windows XP or Windows 7 worked perfectly. It was recognized by Windows as two removable drives, one for the internal 8Gb memory and another for the miniSD card slot. Without the miniSD card, the second drive was not accessible.

Transferring music to it was pretty straighforward. Just drag and drop the files to the first removable drive. The transfer speed seemed decent.

Since I bought this player to play music, the quality of the video display did not bother me as much. But I would not want to use this player for video.

For $50, I would say it is not bad. The music interface did not show the album art like it did with my Garmin Nuvi or my LG Chocolate 3.

Before you buy it, make sure you have a computer running the 32-bit Windows (XP, Vista or 7). Otherwise, you may have to bother your friends in order to load the music or video.

  1. I like to use touch screen MP3 player but it is not comfortable while doing other work. It is really nice and interesting product. It has most of all facilities as well.
